Jo Koy Fox Theatre - Detroit Concert reviews
too commercial
"I loved the rotating stage! Our seats were fantastic! As far as Jo Koy goes, he and his band sounded good, however, he was way too commercial for my taste. The venue was fantastic! There isn't a bad seat in the house! I have never been to the Melody Tent before! Really kept pushing the audience to go visit the merchandise tables to purchase his CD's, t-shirts, key chains, and whatever else he was selling. The real big turn-off was his push for a charity he is supporting, Believe me, I have nothing against charities. Not one of his band members was wearing the wristband! He is selling wristbands, which are 2 for $5, don't remember what charity he is supporting. It turned me off when the band didn't come out for an encore song! Never been to a concert before when the band didn't come out for at least one song! I thought the venue was great! I was in the 2nd row, so I really took notice!"
